Celebrating 46 Years of InCommunity: A Journey of Purpose, Growth, and Community
InCommunity proudly celebrates 46 years of service to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Georgia. Since 1979, our organization has worked to ensure that the people it supports can live safe, healthy, and joyful lives while fully participating in their communities. That mission has remained steady, even as we’ve grown and expanded our services.
Growth Rooted in Purpose
Over the decades, we have evolved from a small, local effort into a statewide network of programs designed to meet a wide range of needs. Today, services include residential homes, day programs, supported employment, crisis support, respite care, and family assistance.
Each offering reflects the same goal. Every individual deserves the chance to build skills, gain confidence, form meaningful relationships, and take part in everyday life. InCommunity’s programs aim to honor individual goals and create environments where people can thrive.
The People Behind the Impact
What truly sustains us is the dedication of our staff, the trust of families, and the strength of the individuals we serve. The commitment of our team shows in every home, every program, and every moment of support. Their work makes a lasting difference, and their passion continues to drive our organization forward.
Looking to the Future
As InCommunity marks its 46th year, the focus is on both celebrating accomplishments and advancing the mission. Our organization is committed to enhancing its services, expanding opportunities, and championing inclusion in every community we serve.
The goal is simple and steady. Build a world where everyone belongs. Recognize abilities. Create pathways for independence, connection, and growth.
Thank you to every individual, family, staff member, volunteer, and partner who has contributed to this journey. Together, we will continue to move forward with purpose.
