Celebrating Our Volunteers This National Volunteer Month

April is National Volunteer Month — a time to recognize the power of service and the people who step up to make a difference. At InCommunity, we’re grateful every day for the volunteers who help the individuals we support live safe, healthy, and joyful lives. This month, we’re proud to shine a light on a few groups who went above and beyond.

From October through December, we were honored to partner with North Point Community Church during their Give Serve Love initiative. Their volunteers brought compassion, energy, and heart into our programs — helping with projects, spending time with the people we support, and showing the true meaning of community. Their kindness left a lasting mark.

We’re also thankful for the incredible support of our other volunteer partners:

  • Pebble Tossers – for connecting youth and families with service opportunities that uplift both our individuals and staff.

  • Greater Atlanta Christian School – whose students brought creativity, enthusiasm, and big hearts to our holiday party and February staff appreciation event.

  • The Outlaws Baseball Team – for stepping off the field and into our programs with generosity, hard work, and team spirit.

  • St. Peter Chanel Church – for their continued support and dedication to building a partnership and giving back to the individuals we support by donating all of the items on holiday wish lists.

These groups remind us that service is more than a good deed — it’s about connection. It’s the laughter during a game, the teamwork on a project, the shared moments of joy. Every hour they’ve given has helped someone feel seen, supported, and valued.

To all our volunteers: thank you. Your time, care, and presence are building a community where everyone has the chance to thrive.
