At InCommunity, we’re thrilled to welcome two exceptional leaders, William Pahl and Richard Thorne, to our Board of Directors. These accomplished professionals bring incredible expertise and a shared passion for community service, helping us strengthen our mission to create meaningful change for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
About William Pahl
William Pahl joins us with a strong background in financial planning and wealth management. As a Senior Financial Associate at RBC Wealth Management, William has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals through personalized investment strategies, financial planning, and wealth-building solutions.
As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), William is known for his strong relationships with clients and his ability to stay ahead of emerging trends in the financial industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with dual majors in Finance and Marketing from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.

About Richard Thorne
Richard Thorne brings over 35 years of global leadership experience to our board. During his career, Richard held senior roles like President of Kimberly-Clark Professional North America and Vice President of Kimberly-Clark Professional Asia Pacific. His strategic vision and expertise in leadership development have been instrumental in driving growth and success across diverse industries.
Now based in Atlanta, Richard is deeply committed to giving back through mentorship and philanthropic initiatives. He holds a Master of Marketing from the Royal Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Bachelor of Business Studies from Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom.
