Your Support Makes a Difference for Individuals with I/DD

This year, InCommunity proudly supported over 2,600 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) across Metro Atlanta. We provided them with the care and resources they needed to thrive within their communities.

InCommunity’s mission is to ensure every person we serve receives the support they need to live safe, healthy, and joyful lives. Through a wide range of programs, we provide critical services such as:

  • Family Support Funding and Emergency Respite Care

  • Community Residential and HOST homes

  • Supported Employment

  • Day Programs throughout Metro Atlanta

Our communities count on us to deliver meaningful support for the individuals and their families, and we are committed to being there for them every step of the way.

Bridging the Gap with Your Support

The level of care we provide would not be possible without the time, commitment, and generosity of supporters like you. Rising operational costs—such as rent, utilities, groceries, gasoline, and maintenance—create significant challenges, especially because many individuals in our care rely on fixed incomes like social security or disability benefits, which rarely cover all their needs.

Additionally, our residential operations are staffed 24/7/365 to provide consistent, quality care. Yet, we are only reimbursed for 344 days per year and do not receive reimbursement for overtime costs. This results in nearly $1 million in uncompensated care costs annually—a gap we depend on donations to fill.

How You Can Help

Your generosity ensures that individuals with I/DD in our care can live with dignity, support, and a sense of belonging. Every donation brings us closer to closing the funding gap and helps us continue providing life-changing services.

Together, we can create a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
