DSP Appreciation Shout Out

National DSP Appreciation week is a time to celebrate the important work of Direct Support Professionals on the frontlines. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to the very backbone of InCommunity, our DSPs. You are what makes the lives of our individuals so special. Every day you change lives by providing quality care, creating a community and giving love. In honor of National DSP Appreciation week, InCommunity chose 3 of its hardworking and dedicated staff to highlight & reward for their continued support. First is Kevelin Galicia, she has worked with InCommunity for 3 going on 4 years and works in our Family Ease department. She chose to work with the IDD population after witnessing her uncle become ill and how the CNA that worked with him tended to his needs. She then developed a passion for helping people. One day she met our HR Recruiter, Regenia while in the community and decided to join our team. Next is Felix Pitan, he has worked with InCommunity for a total of 8 years in our Residential Life @ Home department. Felix says that he has a passion for helping others and dreams to one day be a manager, all the while continuing his educational endeavors.
