Art & Food

Art & Food provides training and skills to individuals with developmental disabilities who are interested in the art and food service industries. The Food program operates a small catering company, while the Art component focuses on all aspects of operating an art gallery. This includes purchasing supplies, producing art, and marketing and exhibiting the finished products. Our program does a great job at getting everyone involved and staying creative!

The name of this program says it all. We offer services to individuals who are looking to make a change in their lives. Who are interested in stepping outside the box and not allowing their disability to stop them in any way. Our Day Program provides therapeutic activities, social interaction, and community activities. Trained staff ensure that all individuals participate and grow as individuals regardless of their abilities. Our facility is equipped with an art room (creating the artist within) sensory room (when you need a break) a computer lab (internet surfing with guidance). The possibilities are limitless.

BEYOND HORIZONS CENTER 

Here at Beyond Horizons Center we are dedicated to keeping our individuals out and involved in as many community activities as possible! We thrive on the aspect of keeping our individuals “on the go”! We have partnerships with several local organizations where we serve in the community as volunteers. Doing our part by delivering meals to the elderly with our affiliation with the South Fulton Senior Center’s  “Meals on Wheels” group. We also have an affiliation with Merk Recycling Company where we do our part by weekly donations of Recyclable Items that we collect here at the center! I can say that Beyond Horizons is doing their part by being upstanding citizens in the South Fulton area!

marietta enrichment center (mec) 

MEC offers Adult Enrichment Programming and Youth ADL (Activities of Daily Living) programs. MEC provides both facility and community-based activities in order to bring variety to individuals’ daily lives. The goal of MEC is to ensure participants achieve their goals of independent living, personal development, self-advocacy, self-determination, and community inclusion.
